KNOWING BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA
The Embassy organized an essay and painting competition with Mount Carmel School, New Delhi, India. A total of 115 students, divided into senior and junior groups, participated in the competition, displaying Bosnia and Herzegovina through their imagination. They displayed a remarkable level of creativeness. The Embassy facilitated and provided certificates to the students.

SHREE SUNTAKHAN SECONDARY SCHOOL IN GOKARNESHWAR ,KATHMANDU NEPAL WAS FINANCED BY THE GOVERNMENT OF BOSNIA AFTER DEVASTATING EARTHQUAKE IN NEPAL.
ON 27TH SEPTEMBER 2016 THE SCHOOL WAS INAUGURATED BY THE AMBASSADOR, DR. SABIT SUBASIC AND BUDDHI BAHADUR SHRESTHA, PRESIDENT, Suntakhan Secondary School Management Committee .

SARAJEVO BUSNIESS FORUM 2016
The Annual Investment Conference, "Sarajevo Business Forum", is to be held in 4th-5th May 2016 at Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The conference is positioned as one of the most important business and investment events for Southeast Europe. It will include presentations and of business and investment opportunities in Energy, Infrastructure, Agriculture, IT, Tourism and other areas from seven countries of Southeast Europe: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Slovenia.
The Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina along with three other embassies, i.e. Embassy Of Chile, Embassy of Guatemala and Embassy of Serbia, are organizing a charity tennis (doubles) tournament with an aim to raise funds to support the rural sanitation work of the recognized Indian NGO "Sulabh International". The event will witness participation from Embassies, Corporate Companies and Sports Dignitaries. The event is scheduled from 16th to 17th April, 2016.
NEPAL SCHOOL PROJECT
The Government of Bosnia and Herzegovina is funding the construction of a school, Shree Suntakhan Secondary School, in Nepal to assist the Nepal government to rebuild their infrastructure after the disastrous 2015 earthquake.
MUMBAI EVENT 2016
The Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina with the help of the friends of the Embassy, Mr. Suhas Mantri, will be organizing a conference to display its capacity in tourism and entertainment sector as well as to assert the necessity to establish bilateral ties between the two nations.
The event will also highlight the need to promote art and culture, thus emphasizing the amalgamation of the film industry of the two nations. The event is scheduled on 9th March, 2016, in Mumbai, "the Film City of India". The event will witness many dignitaries and grandees from Tourism Industry and Film Industry and also will be attended by Businessmen, Industrialists and Media Personals.

Welcome to the website of the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in New Delhi.
I am proud to emphasize that bilateral relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of India are truly amicable at present with a strong tendency to prosper.
This closeness in our relations, I could say, is due to the long history we shared. Our virtuous and pleasant relations with India persists from the former Yugoslavia period where Bosnia and Herzegovina was central (hearth) republic. Just to remind you that many B&H corporations at that time was doing commercial business with Indian partners and it is a great challenge for all of us now to carry out a new incitement towards the bright traditions of our economic relations. Finally, I want to emphasize that, after the dissolution of former Yugoslavia, India was among the first countries to recognize Bosnia and Herzegovina (1992). Read more →
